Hurricane Dorian made landfall near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina just before 9am on Friday and is now tracking away from the coast. Dorian will continue to lash the Outer Banks and Virginia Beach for the rest of today as the system exits before things calm down tonight. Dorian will continue to accelerate through the NW Atlantic and impact the Canadian Maritimes over the weekend.
