Spring Woods High School in spring branch was under a 4 hour shelter in place as the storm caused whole district to keep students in past their dismissal times. A typical 3 mile commute turned into over an hour’s driving as many streets and highways were/are underwater.
Unlike Hurricane Harvey, I actually have a drone to see a little bit better of what the storm(s) may or may not be doing. Luckily, this storm should be relatively minor to Hurricane Harvey but only time will tell as some places throughout Southeast Texas are expecting upwards of up to 24in (2 feet) of rain. The storm grew fast, and it’s moving slow… School may or may not be canceled for a day or two as time will only tell the strength of the storm. Thanks to my dad Eddie Stakes for getting a few pictures as well as Amonjae Love for travelling the 3 mile turned 30 home.
