Imelda is slowly moving north after making landfall near Freeport, Texas today. Flash flood watches have been issued for Houston, Galveston, and other areas near the coast. Heavy rains and flooding are expected in southeast Texas for the next couple of days, and some areas could get up to 18 inches of rain according to the National Hurricane Center forecast.
