Alley Cat Allies provided disaster relief to cats and kittens in the wake of Tropical Storm Imelda in September 2019. Flooding affected communities just outside of Houston, including the towns of Winnie and Vidor where cats were stranded in an animal shelter. Alley Cat Allies’ president and founder, Becky Robinson, coordinated getting the critical supplies, veterinary care, and emergency funding needed to rescue and save cats and kittens affected by the storm.
